For us at THEONI, solidarity and social contribution carry profound significance. THEONI's heart beats for our homeland, prompting active support for Karditsa and our fellow citizens who faced many challenges in the past year.
Specifically, we addressed the water needs of 20 schools in areas affected by the Daniel’s storm. Additionally, another project initiated by us, was the repair and asphalt paving of a significant section of the road that suffered severe damage due to the storm.
This year was special to us concluding in a beautiful and touching manner as we undertook the complete renovation of the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Karditsa. A high-standard project actively supporting and strengthening the services offered by the local community to all the children in our area!
This project was completed a few days before Christmas and included a surprise visit to the hospital's children, with many gifts and laughters of joy and optimism.
Sports & Sustainability
Our actions also extend to the field of sports, aiming to provide more support to people and athletes who inspire us with their achievements and strength.
Therefore, we proceeded with the donation of a personalized wheelchair to improve the quality of life for the table tennis athlete N. Davrados, who has won 5 medals at the national level in the last three years.
Furthermore, together with the A.S. Karditsa JAPANESE and the NGO Act For Karditsa, we joined forces in a basketball game with the goal of providing financial assistance to those affected by the storm. Each point scored by A.S.K. corresponded to 25 euros, a donation from THEONI, which was handed over to the Act For Karditsa initiative after the end of the game.
Finally, always striving to create a better tomorrow for everyone, we supported the work of the Tourist Police of the Meteorological Police Department by donating an electric bicycle, contributing to the promotion of sustainable solutions. In the same direction, we have made significant donations to police departments in Thessaly, as well as to the firefighting service in Mouzaki.
Our work and contribution to those in need will continue with even greater momentum in 2024 because our source of life is your love!
