Having a strong sense of Social Responsibility and aiming for a “green” footprint in all aspects of modern life, Natural Mineral Water is connected to the Environment, Education, and Society through multiple actions with a social impact.
True to the idea of corporate responsibility, THEONI SA undertook the construction of a water pipeline in the village of Vatsounia, where it is located, solving the chronic water supply problem faced by villagers every summer.
At the same time, THEONI SA tries to respond wherever water needs emerge, due to unforeseen water supply problems, covering the basic needs of the residents.
"An action “from the heart” was completed by the Natural Mineral Water THEONI, addressed to the Municipalities of Karditsa and Mouzaki. THEONI, the Most Award-winning Greek Water in the World, proceeded to repay the amount raised through the Social Responsibility campaign “Source of Life #GiaTinKarditsa”, with the aim of supporting the wider areas affected by floods in October 2020. Part of THEONI’s bottle sales, from the 1st to the 31st of October 2020, was allocated for the relief of the areas affected by the floods. "
The Social Responsibility campaign “Source of Life #GiaTinKarditsa” was boosted by combined activation of THEONI on Social Media, inviting the brand’s followers to participate in the action. For each Instagram Story published using the sticker “Source of Life #GiaTinKarditsa”, THEONI offered € 0.20 for the support of the Municipalities of Karditsa and Mouzaki.
THEONI SA will continue to declare in practice the strong feeling of solidarity and social responsibility that occupies all its potential, faithfully following the vision, values, and anthropocentric philosophy of the company.

THEONI and ActionAid… for the Children of the World!
"In December 2019, THEONI Natural Mineral Water joined forces with ActionAid, the international organization that has been active since 1972 against poverty and injustice in Greece and abroad, planning a better future… for Children All over the World. The Most Awarded Greek Water in the world, undertook the construction and furnishing of a preschool development center (a block with three rooms) in the Muki community of Rwanda, where children aged 2-6 will have access to preschool education, growing up in a healthy environment but also the support of two preschool educational programs for a school year in Epikentro, the structure of ActionAid in the center of Athens, which offers free services aimed at combating social and economic exclusion."
During the holidays,THEONI bottles were adorned with a limited-edition label designed by Celia Kritharioti, and part of the sales revenue supported this great project. The renowned and internationally recognized Greek fashion designer undertook for the 3rd time the design of a tailor-made label for THEONI, connecting, even more, the haute couture with the high quality of the Most Awarded Greek Water in the world.
A few words about the project in Epikentro
The ActionAid Epikentro is a support center in Kolonos, Athens for our fellow human beings facing financial problems and social exclusion. Through a wide range of services and programs offered for free at Epicenter, adults, children and their families have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and power to change their lives for the better. THEONI Natural Mineral Water undertakes the support of two educational programs of preschool age for a school year, namely an art program and a music kinetics program.

The completion of the construction of the Preschool Education DevelopmentCenter in Rwanda, funded by THEONI Natural Mineral Water with the support of ActionAid Hellas, is a flagship of the essential social project that is the main goal of THEONI SA. After 545 days of intensive work and despite the adverse conditions, this project is the flagship of THEONI SA’s commitment to a better future for children around the world, with an emphasis on children and the elimination of social inequalities.
Actions for the environment
At THEONI , we implement a comprehensive program of good environmental practices. We follow fully certified operating procedures with care to minimize our environmental footprint. The modern equipment of the bottling plant was selected with strict criteria and highest specifications. At the same time the architectural and functional design of the unit is fully harmonized with the natural environment. Our main goal is to invest in sustainable development and achieve sustainability, so that today’s and tomorrow’s generations can enjoy the precious gifts that nature offers us.
Nature is our “home” and it is our responsibility to do our best to protect it.
